The journal places particular emphasis on practices and innovations originating from North Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region, as well as from low-resource settings.
The TJNS is authorized to publish, in the form of supplements or abstract collections, the abstracts of studies presented during scientific events organized or sponsored by the Tunisian Neurosurgical Association. These abstracts undergo a separate and streamlined evaluation process supervised by the scientific committee of the event, in collaboration with the journal’s editorial board, in order to ensure their quality and relevance prior to publication.

TANIT Neurosurgery is primarily intended for neurosurgeons in Tunisia, North Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region, while also addressing clinicians and researchers involved in the management of neurological and spinal disorders. The journal welcomes contributions from related specialties, including neurology, orthopedic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, neuroradiology, anesthesiology, and critical care, among others.
