Tanit NeuroSurgery: The Birth of a Pioneering Neurosurgical Journal in the Region

2026-04-25

We are pleased to announce the launch of Tanit NeuroSurgery, the official scientific journal of the Tunisian Association of Neurosurgery.

This journal represents a major milestone for our specialty, as it is the first journal dedicated exclusively to neurosurgery in Tunisia, and the first specialized neurosurgical journal in the Maghreb. It also stands as the second neurosurgery-focused journal in Africa, following the Egyptian Journal of Neurosurgery.

Conceived as a scholarly platform for clinicians, researchers, and academics, Tanit NeuroSurgery aims to promote high-quality research, foster collaboration, and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas within the neurosurgical community, particularly across the Mediterranean region.

The journal welcomes original articles, reviews, case reports, and technical notes covering all aspects of neurosurgery, with a special emphasis on regional specificities, evolving challenges, and advances in patient care.

By bringing together contributions from across the Mediterranean and beyond, Tanit NeuroSurgery aspires to become a dynamic channel for scientific dissemination and a reference platform reflecting both the diversity and excellence of neurosurgery in our region.

We warmly invite colleagues and researchers to contribute to this initiative and to take part in shaping a journal that embodies scientific rigor, innovation, and regional leadership in neurosurgery.
